hi, i am jimmy
the other day i was walking along a kopitiam near j8 on the way home. suddenly this guy appeared by my side and rambled ..."hi wo shi jimmy, ke yi ren shi ni ma??" (hi i am jimmy, can i get to know you?)
"huh???!!??" (he spoke so fast i had to huh twice)
and i jus stared at him dumbfounded...so he had to repeat himself...
"er.....ok..." (i was so shocked that my mouth jus moved. dun ask me why i said what i said)
"oh ni zu fu jin ah?"
"ah"
"wo ye shi, wo zu blk 2.." (dun rem where he stay but he stays in bishan too)
and i was still too shocked and amazed...and suddenly he whipped out his hp and asked for my no...
"wo ke yi na ni de dian hua hao ma ma?"
"er...ah...er...erm....."
i was stumped. this guy came out of no where asking for my phone no???? no way!!!! he do look cute la...but that was just a bad way to try to pick up a gal la...and so he said
"but i tot u said ok? we can be friends??"
"ah...er...ah....er......erm......" (i was desperately thinking of something to say...i really was)
"you got boyfriend is it??"
"ah! yes" (laugh laugh) "yes!"
"oh , ok nevermind thanks" (turned around and walk away)
how could i forget that?? hahaha...i was so shocked that i think i stood there for 1-2 min...
this is the 1st time this have happened to me! how was i suppose to react?
then it led me to think, how long have he been noticing me? i'm sure he's noticed me for some time before approaching me, as much as a man is brave, he'd need time to plan this right???
i was kinda apologetic, if i embarrassed him, but i must applaud his courage. afterall, such pickups happen more often in a club where there's booze to up one's courage....lol
and then jus as i tot i'd never see this guy again (thinking he'd be so embarrassed he'd avoid me if he sees me from afar) i bump into him at the bus stop....what!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!
i was standing a distance from him when i noticed him at the bus stop too, and boy did i regret noticing him!!! i was praying in my heart he wont come near me... we just smiled and waited for our buses. luckily he didn't come up to me again, nor did he board the same bus as me....phew....i was soooooooooo embarrassed....
hope i wont see him again...maybe until 10 yrs later...muahahaha....
